Chapter 113. Accident

"Thank you," I kept saying to those guests who were approaching us.

I didn't invite anyone I knew except for my mother. Until now, I still can't fully grasp that she's my biological mother. Like, how come?

Is the world really that small that she's right in front of me, and I didn't even know?

"Let's go?" Roy asked as he approached me.

He put his arm around me and invited me to leave. Most of the guests had already gone to the wedding reception, and only a few remained. Roy had been urging me to leave for a while, but I wanted us to be the last ones. He had been complaining because he said we should have been the first to arrive before our guests.

"You have so many guests," I remarked, giving him a reason to laugh.

"I just want it to be memorable for you, for us," he said.

"I believe this wedding would have been more intimate if we had kept it private," I argued.

I playfully slapped him when he kissed me on the lips. "What's gotten into you!"<
