"Is it really painful? Tell me, we should go to the hospital," I urged.
In a panic, I grabbed my cell phone and called Mama. "Mom, are you busy right now?" I asked.
"I just finished my shift, why?" she replied.
"Mom, Roy's having a terrible headache. I'm worried about Amari. There's no one to take care of her."
"Why? What happened?" she inquired.
I shook my head. "Can you walk, Roy? Let's go to the hospital."
"No, I can't. It hurts so much, Ina," he said, feeling dizzy.
I was flustered and didn't know what to do. "Mom, what should I do?"
"Take a deep breath, Dianna. I'm in my car now, and I'll head straight there. Don't panic; Roy will panic more."
I nodded, biting my lower lip as I watched Roy.
I closed my eyes when he suddenly screamed. "Roy, just stay calm. Don't panic. Mama is on her way," I told him.
