Chapter 52. Turmoil

I sighed and let out the pain I was feeling. It was so easy for them to tell me to keep the baby, but they hadn't experienced what I had. We were now at the stage where they had helped me, and I appreciated their help. But all I wanted was for them to stop interfering with my decisions and not force their desires on me.

I had been staring at the pills I bought from the pharmacy for a long time. I was just about to open them when there was a knock on the door. I was already back at the condo, safe and sound. We had gone home earlier that day.

Ms. Hazel's wish was for me to stay at their house for the time being, so I'd have someone with me and someone to look after me, even though we hadn't fully reconciled yet due to our recent argument.

I stood up and went to open the door. My eyes met with Ms. Hazel, and I was the first to look away.

"How are you? Everything's alright?" Mr. Erick broke the silence and entered the room.

I sat down on the opposite sofa
