Valeria's POV

My lips were highlighted with a lip gloss and a bit of highlighter was applied to my nose and cheeks.

"Lynn, that's... I see... Wow." I didn't know what to say.

"Oh, that's nothing." She waved away with one hand.

"Yes, thank you." I hugged her as tightly as I could.

"I would never have been able to do this alone!" At some point, I let go of Lynn.

"Now you should get dressed slowly, it's almost over." She held out her cell phone to me and I swallowed.

"Besides, I have to go then. Jeremy must miss me already." She laughed and packed up her things.

I thanked him a few more times before we said goodbye.

I quickly slipped into the red dress and put on black matching heeled sandals that Lynn had brought. I looked in the mirror and was surprised. The dress had a slight neckline at the back, but it wasn't too deep. My now short brown hair lay on my shoulder and was slightly curled. I had to smile slightly.
