Alec's POV

When we finally found one of my hiding places, I put on some pants and Val got a T-shirt. Luckily it reached over her bottom and covered all the important areas. Still, I could feel her discomfort up to this point. She kept tugging at the shirt and pulling it longer. When we finally got home, we still got a few strange looks. However, after I gave them a death stare, that went away and we could concentrate on more important things again.

For example, a long shower together. So we went to the upper floor, and Val asked me to lead the way. She wanted to go back to her old room. To the place where it all began yesterday. I gave her this freedom and went into our room, but a short time later I was startled by a blood-curdling scream and immediately rushed back to her. I stood in the doorway, completely stunned, staring at her.
