The tribal elder now stood directly in front of me and looked at me intently. The ceremony begins.

"We have gathered here today to accept the present Valeria Dragomir, soon to be Ashford, as Luna of the Forestmoon Pack." He took the dagger from Alec's hand and held it in his hand before holding it out to me. I took it with my left hand and waited for his signal.

He raised his hand and began. “Will you accept the role of Luna? Will you be a mother to it? and accept the will of the moon goddess?"

I took the knife, cut my right hand, and made my oath. “I hereby swear, Valeria Dragomir, that I will protect this pack with my life. I will honor the pack and its members and represent their interests. I will be the mother they need. I hereby ask you to give me the strength to become Luna of this pack. In front of the moon goddess and everyone present, I take on the role of Luna of the Forest moon pack. For today. For tomorrow. Forever
