"What the fuck did she even mean?" Juan blurted out in his pissed-off state.

Amber, who had a look of cold-blooded murder on her face as she spoke, said, "This full moon—the Claws will launch a full-blown attack?" Despite the fact that she had this expression, her voice came out calm.

My two mates were furious, seething with rage over the fact that their wolves had allowed Daisy to go so near to the adversary while remaining ignorant of the situation and putting her in danger. I mean, Daisy isn't a warrior wolf, and we can't let any damage befall our precious omega, but they both are Alphas with tenfold the protective and possessive drive of anybody else.
