Chapter 9
It was finally the day, the day that I'd be officially introduced to the pack as the Alpha and the Beta's mate; I'd no longer be the unseen omega but the future Luna; even the concept gave me shivers.
I'd spent the last couple of days being forced and dragged by my parents to the nearest human city and shopping for a dress fit for the event. The mate link was already present, even though I hadn't officially gained my wolf until much later. Just being in their presence brought in a state of bliss.
It had been a few days since I'd last seen them, and I could feel my mood beginning to suffer.
Mom had told me to be cleaned up by six because the ceremony started at eight. I was drying off after a shower and was wearing a towel around my body. Since I was cold, I dried off and wrapped myself in a robe; wolves aren't supposed to get out, but I had more human traits thanks to my talents.
