Her stomach growled audibly.
It was far from hunger; it was pure nervousness. On that Monday, right after rushing out of the university, getting home to take a shower, and barely eating anything for lunch—just a slice of bread with cheese—Lucy stared at the main entrance for DriveJen employees.
Okay, maybe her stomach still growled with a hint of hunger, but she was more focused on getting inside the store and doing her best on that first day. She took a deep breath and glanced at the wristwatch that belonged to Ryeon. Her eyes widened; there were only five minutes left until her starting time.
She didn't want to make a bad impression, so she decided to enter right away. As she passed through the doors, several pairs of eyes turned to her. Lucy shrunk a bit, offering a slightly awkward smile and greeting some of the older employees.
