Chapter 35

Ryeon watched as Jaesun lay with part of his body on the couch while the rest was on the floor. The boy was almost upside down, which puzzled Ryeon as he enjoyed his break, sipping on a cup of warm cinnamon coffee.

He had already asked Jaesun what he was doing, and all he got as a response was, "I'm creating, don't disturb me." So, to avoid getting the full force of Jaesun's glare, he had chosen not to disturb him.

He heard the front door open and thought it might be Lucy. He smiled excitedly, but his enthusiasm waned when he saw that it was just Kimi and Heejoon carrying the grocery bags for the week.

"Did you get what I asked for?" Ryeon hurried to help Kimi carry the bags to the kitchen and left them on the table. He opened each bag one by one, listening to Kimi's grumbling about how tired she was. "Where's my car?" he asked Heejoon.

"Parked. I didn't get any parking tickets, like I told you.
