Chapter 9

"Are you nervous?" Jaesun asked his best friend.

They were going to an ice cream parlor that Jaesun loved. It was his favorite because all the ice creams were homemade, and the combination of milk and fruit flavors was very strong.

However, Jaesun's favorite flavor was plain vanilla, the simplest and most boring one.

"I want mine with..."

"Strawberry, I know," Jaesun interrupted the girl and laughed. She sat at the small table next to the door, while Jaesun went to the counter and greeted the lady there with an audible "Noona, long time no see!" The woman laughed, of course. She soon asked if he wanted his usual, and he nodded, changing only Lucy's order to strawberry.

Lucy grabbed her phone and laughed as she opened the recent conversation with Ryeon. She saw the numerous messages he had sent her about the university and felt ecstatic when he took a selfie while waiting to be served.

"Smiling
