He looked at the screen and saw that the clock was nearing three in the morning, but it didn't matter. He knew that Mark was probably still awake, so he quickly dialed his boyfriend's number.

After three rings, the deep voice that made Jaesun's heart race a little echoed through the phone.

"Don't tell me I woke you up..."

"No," Mark laughed. Jaesun didn't quite believe him; he knew him well, even though they hadn't been dating for three months yet. "Is something wrong?"

"It's just longing..." Jaesun also laughed and sat on the bench just below the window, still hearing Mark's breath through the call and observing the stillness of the street. "I wish I could hug you..."

"Close your eyes," Mark requested. Jaesun smiled and did as he was told. "Did you close them?"
