Chapter 55

Ryeon gazed at the room in their house that had once been empty and laughed as he watched Lucy fitting the rubber mats together until they covered the entire floor. Lucy seemed to be having fun doing it, and there were a few bags in the corner of the room filled with the products she had bought along with Jaesun and Ryeon. After returning from another day of work, Ryeon could feel Lucy's excitement as she eagerly awaited finishing the task, so she could show him each of the things she had acquired.

"Come, sit here," Lucy called out to him. She was on the floor, surrounded by the baby items, looking like a child herself. "But clean your feet, you can't dirty the floor."

Ryeon chuckled and complied, taking off his socks and tucking them into his pants pocket. He then felt the softness of the rubber mat under his feet.
