“Hey, Vic. What are you doing here?” I heard Daniel’s voice from behind me as I was idling around without a purpose.
“Waiting for Alexander. His father called him in for a serious talk, and I was hoping to bid him goodbye before I call it a day and head back home,” I replied, keeping my eyes on a large painting.
I don't know what it was, but I felt an unexplainable connection to the girl portrayed in the canvas. It was as if I knew her from a past life. Gazing into her eyes, which looked like they were desperately trying to tell me something, I couldn’t help but reach up to touch her face.
