Cassie was squeezed her eyes out really tight, nervously waiting for Thorn's lips to touch hers. It wasn't like it was her first kiss, but it had been a long time since a man's lips touched hers. It was uncomfortable to sit there, waiting and not moving because she didn't want to hurt her husband's feelings if she moved away, but it was nerve-wrecking. Thorn had been really nice to her. If he wanted a kiss, then she'd give it to him.

Clenching her hands, she continued waiting until she heard a loud crash.
