Chapter 28

Cassia was not interested in David, so she just shrugged off his issue and went back to work. He hadn't been reading the report from the advertising team he was talking to a week ago when David came out of his office and approached him.

Cassia immediately read herself. They were at work, so it was impossible for him to hurt her, but it was good to be sure.

"Yes, sir?" He politely asked David, who was standing in front of the table.

"Come to my office, he said. "I want to talk."

Cassia adjusted her seat. "If it's personal, please spare me, Sir. I still have a lot of work to do."

"Bullshit!"

Cassia flinched at David's loud voice, and fear started to grow inside her, especially when David slammed his fist on her table.

Cassia shrank back, and when her secretary saw this, she immediately stood up and tried to shield her boss, but David pushed her away so he could grab Cassia by the hand
