"Hmm... you're just being nice?"

"I'm not that nice."

Cassia blinked adorably at Thorn. "So you like me? Like, really like me?"

"Yeah. Would that be a problem?"

Cassia shook her head, then smiled. "No. I like you too."

A wide smile appeared on Thorn's lips, and his eyes looked like they were shining. "Say it again."

"I like you too, Cassia repeated.

"Again, please."

Cassia pouted. "I like you too."

Thorn grinned. "Could you say that one more time?"

Cassia playfully punched Thorn's side. "I don't want to. I've said it several times."

Thorn chuckled, then became serious. "Cinnamon, just to be sure, you like me romantically, right?"

"Hmm, yeah. Why? You're my husband; legally, you're already mine, so you're not allowed to complain."
