Chapter 50. Damon's Confession

Sunny’s POV

I was looking down the whole time while Damon and I were walking through the street. No one was speaking between us after what had just happened. 

I still couldn't believe Jared did that to me. 

I thought he was nice. I even thought that I could give him my heart and have him as my first boyfriend, but I was wrong. Maybe Kayla was right. I was so gullible. 

“Where do you want to go now?” Damon finally spoke.

“I just want to go home.” I mumbled.

“But I don’t want to go home yet.” He said.

I didn’t answer him. 

I was not comfortable with him ever since what happened that night. And he even told Kayla and Jared that he loved me a while ago. For sure, he did that just so I wouldn’t look so pitiful.

“I will just ride a bus.” I said as I was about to walk away, but he grabbed my hand.

“Sunny.”
