Chapter 98. Leave It for Me

Where she belongs is right here, beside me… serving me all throughout her pathetic life until I say otherwise. “Nonsense!” I hissed and leaned back, my gaze flickered back to William.

He hurried over and sat beside me. Before I could react, he pulled me toward him, burying his face in my neck and my body trembled immediately, earning a sound from me.

We both stayed there for a while. He breathed in my scent and I couldn’t deny the sparks flying between us.

Damn, mate bond.

Finally, he sighed and pulled away. I can see that he’s a bit relaxed now.

“What’s wrong?” I asked before rolling my eyes at him. “You should minimize the way you come here, we can’t risk anything,”

“So I should stop visiting my mate?” He growled, his beast not satisfied with my answers but I have my damn reasons and he knows.

“We are closer, we can’t avoid misbehaving now,” I said and growled before he finally let out a frustrated nod.
