“Calm down. We might pick one or two from this,” Leah suddenly suggested, her ears perked up in interest.

“I am not here for this,” I snapped at her and turned my attention back to him.

I am sure he had left his mate because of his selfishness, nothing much. So I don’t want to hear any of his explanations.

“I owe your father a lot,” he smiled sadly, but my features remained impassive.

“So that’s why I have decided to know if you are still interested in getting your people’s freedom and leaving for your peace of mind?”
