Ali’s eyes shot up and she defiantly shook her head. “I didn’t, my princess. He said he has noticed that no food has been taken up to your room for days, that you have obviously not eaten.”

She replied fast and my frown deepened.

Logan? Suddenly sent me food.

What is he up to this time around? I am not used to this side of him, he was never a caring type to start with.

I heaved out a sigh and pushed my double thoughts aside. Deep inside, I am fucking hungry but receiving food from an enemy, Logan? That’s the weirdest thing?

“I am not hungry,” I stared firmly, and Ali’s shoulder slumped. “Please my princess, even if it is a bite,” my eyes flicked on the rich looking yummy toasted bread with a grilled chicken, I gulped hard and darted my eyes away immediately.

“I am not hungry,” I repeated.

“You should eat, Nina. Your body needs it,” Leah said, and I growled, not accepting her suggestion.

“My princess...” She stared
