Eliza was stunned upon hearing Cassa’s request. She didn’t know what the woman was going through, but based on her conscience, she couldn’t bring herself to do it.

“What happened to you, Cassa? You’re so different from the person I know. Please tell me what’s really going on with the baby. We can find a solution together, but not by swapping your baby,” Eliza said, gripping Cassa’s hand.

Eliza was Cassa’s friend since junior high school and also the midwife who would handle Cassa’s delivery in three months. Cassa averted her gaze, as a mother herself, she couldn’t bring herself to say it.

Finally, Cassa looked at Eliza, who was looking at her with a very sad expression, knowing that she was about to do something that would make her regret it.

“Eliza, I can’t explain why I have to do this to you. But, I’m really asking for your help to do it if my delivery goes smoothly. It’s for the sake of my child too,” Cassa pleaded.
