Concert

“Best friend, hurry up. We might be late for the concert!” Jackilyn kept knocking on my bedroom door.

“In a moment!” I first glanced at my black T-shirt and crack jeans dyed with white rubber shoes. I also wore a ball cap to hide my face.

“Nice outfit, huh,” Jacky stated.

I just shrugged my shoulders, and we went downstairs. Nicholas was waiting for us to arrive. I thanked him for accepting my invitation to watch the concert, just because of Jackilyn’s request.

“Good evening!”

“Hi, handsome!” Jackilyn greeted him.

He just gave a nod before turning his attention to me. “Can we leave now?”

I repeatedly nodded before saying goodbye to Dad, who was in the kitchen.

While in Nicholas’ car, Jackilyn did not stop her mouth because she was so excited at the concert.

“Why didn’t you buy a VIP ticket?” she asked me.<
