Chapter 12
I spotted Victor standing by the entrance of the quiet cemetery, his presence was not mistaken even from a distance. He had on a faded blue cap that seemed to match with the blue sky, and a well-worn leather jacket placed over his shoulders. The jacket has seen the test of time, much like the gravestones that surrounded the environment.
I walked closer, and I had so many feelings inside of me, anticipation, anxiety, and hope. Victor had witnessed many burials and farewells in this environment and as I got closer I could almost notice his concern and curiosity, the unspoken questions hanging and waiting to be asked.
