“It’s fine. There’s something I’d like to purchase over there.”
His eyes have returned to the road. “If you want to buy something, just buy it. I’ll wait for you until you finish.”
My head shook. “There’s no need for you to do that. You’d better get to the office right away or you’ll be late for work.”
“But…”
I grabbed his waist before he could finish his sentence. As soon as my hand pinched his waist, he seemed to grimace in pain.
“Please accept my apologies. Could you let me go? If you keep doing that, I won’t be able to focus on driving.” He asked, prompting me to let go of my hand earlier.
I returned my gaze to the window. The rising sun from my direction warmed me, followed by several buildings on the side of the road.
