Dylan’s POV

I woke up in a cold sweat, trying to make sense of the strange surroundings. The walls were painted a sterile white and the sheets were scratchy against my skin. As I tried to sit up, a sharp pain shot through my head, making me groan.

Luna walked into the room, her smile making me forget the pain for a moment. I had always had a crush on her, but she was dating Blaze. “Hey, how are you feeling?” she asked, sitting down beside me.

“Better,” I lied. The truth was that my head was still pounding and I felt like I had been hit by a truck.
