Philip’s POV

I woke up to the news that the Sound side pack has a new Alpha. Alpha Steve, the former Alpha of the Sound side pack, was my father’s friend. They have been allies for long before my father’s demise.

The news was delivered to me by one of my Beta. I have sent him off as a spy to the Sound Side pack to be my eyes, and my ears there, and report back to me.

“The usurp was unlike any other I have seen.” He said.

“Tell me about it.” I queried.

He narrated how the Usurper, being the son of Alpha Steve, has sought the help of Mercenaries from a new pack called the dark pack. According to him, the battle was fierce and finally, the Alpha and his betas were defeated.

I listened with keen interest and wondered how this dark pack operates. The must be extremely powerful, they took down Alpha Steve, one of the strongest alpha of the werewolf world in one day
