Chapter 39. You’re Bleeding

I took shaky steps back from the door as my glazed eyes stayed trained on the door as I shook my head repeatedly in fear. He loudly banged his fist on the door one more time before there was silence.

I counted to five and there was nothing but stillness and absolute quietness. Maybe he was gone. I released a shaky breath before I took one step forward, before I could take the other, the door flew open and was torn from its hinges. I took multiple steps backwards till my back hit the wall. Alessandro was in rage.

“Alessandro!” I squealed in shock as he had kicked the door down with his foot.

“You dumb stupid bitch!” he bellowed at me as he rushed towards me and painfully dragged me by my hair as his tight grip loosened my bun causing my blond curls to fall in loose waves. Tears clouded my vision as my scalp burned from the intensity of the pain. I felt like he would pull off my scalp as a punishment.
