Chapter 30. Bedrest and Arguments

Shit! I fucked up big time. I let my anger get the best of me. I went overboard this time. This was all my fault. I can’t forget the sight of her bleeding out and crying because she thought she was going to lose the baby.

I almost killed my child. I feel like a bad parent now. I was just grateful that the baby was fine. The doctor said she should avoid stress and stay on bedrest for the meantime.

“Boss, how exactly did this happen?” Sebastian spoke up for the first time since arriving at the hospital in a rush.

I looked at him for a moment before looking back at the sedated Victoria lying peacefully on the bed.

“I went over to her place to confront or scare her for trying to throw me behind bars but instead of her being apologetic she hurled insults at me and I kind of lost my cool, then this happened. She was repeatedly saying that it hurt but I didn’t listen. It’s my fault,” I admitted.

Sebastian looked at me for a moment before speak
