Rory's POV

I watched Luke sit opposite the table from me, his leg twitching with nerves which jiggled his entire body. He chewed on his lip, unable to make eye contact with me, and his anxious behaviour was beginning to annoy me.

"Well?" I asked, picking up the knife at my side from the cutlery set up for the meal I had planned. I played with the knife in my fingers as I kept my gaze on the Doctor "How is she doing with the serum?"

"Sh-She's responding well," Luke said eventually, still unable to meet my eyes "The effects are stronger than I imagined, her abilities disappear pretty much as soon as I give her the shot,"
