Chapter 46. Biding My Time

Elsie's POV

I felt weak and pathetic. All I was good for it seemed now, was laying in this damn bed and counting the hours away. I was even tired of the TV that played reruns of what was usually my favourite series. I was beginning to feel like a zombie.

Sitting myself up in bed, I cringed at the pains of my wounds that stung through my movements. Feeling this weak and helpless was something I didn't want to get used to. I wished to feel strong and powerful again, and as I sat in the bed, I remembered when I was doing my warrior training. How determined I was to make myself as powerful as I could and become the best warrior, proving to everyone I could achieve it.
