She got startled as she tried not to act suspicious and she slowly walked out of the passageway, trying to wrap up a lie.

As she walked out of the passageway, she swallowed hard when her eyes met with Naomi's. "Hi, Naomi."

"What are you doing here? Alone?" Naomi threw the question at her.

She and Jackson were enjoying their date when Mrs. Morgan called mentioning that Elijah had been hospitalized and that Naomi should stop by their cottage to pick up some of his clothes.
