Although she was beginning to get anxious in her seat, still she composed herself, her eyes raised unbelievably at what she had heard.

The fact that they were plotting to kidnap her son was having her troubled and she could feel she was about to burst out in thinking, what if she wasn't aware of this? Even though Cherry insists on not kidnapping Eli, Gladys still feels betrayed as she wraps her fingers with each other's placing them on her desk.

"Mr. Morrow won't spare any of us!" Cherry adds in, seems like she knows how powerful Caden can be, not even if they dared mess with his child.
