Chapter 122. The Spy

"What?" Cherry exclaimed, ignoring the possibility of being overheard. Her attention was fixed on Mrs. Janelle, and her expression was a mixture of shock and irritation. "Kidnap? That was never part of the plan!" she said, trying to lower her voice but finding it difficult to contain her mounting anxiety. The idea of kidnapping someone went against everything she stood for, and she could not imagine herself going through with such a plan.

When Mrs. Janelle hired her they didn't tell her about becoming anything else than a spy. Even when they ask her to bug Gladys' bedroom although she knows it's wrong she decides to do it regardless, but hearing Janelle tell her to become a kidnapper makes her rethink of why she became their spy.
