Chapter 96. Eat or Kill

Gladys giggled. "What are you saying?" She muttered glancing at him.

"I mean it Gladys..." Caden replied.

They were both staring at each other with Gladys still trying to digest what he was offering her, but the more she thought about it, she knew she couldn't accept the position.

She had her self-respect and not just that. People would go around gossiping that she got the post thanks to him, and her dream has never been related to climbing high with someone's help.

She wants to achieve her wish by herself so she can walk heads high, knowing that she worked hard to reach where she is.

"No, Caden... It's... it's too much." Gladys said rejecting his offer as she put the frying pan on the cooker while Caden walked to her.

"You can just see it as a temporary position, besides I'll still be your boss." He mentioned, closer to her.

"You know I have little ideas about fashion... And, handling Caine will be super difficult."
