Jennifer’s POV

Few weeks have passed since Reyna and Aaliyah came back to school. Samantha and I asked them about their disappearance because we’re curious but they said they were just dealing with some family business and for the exams that are coming up.

But I have this urge feeling that they were lying to us but I don’t want to make an assumption about them. So I just believed them.

Well, for now.

“I knew they were hiding something from us, I swear to God,” Samantha whispered into my ear while she was staring at Reyna and Aaliyah, who decided to sit far away from our usual spot.

“I know they are, but let’s just not mind it. I think they are the reason for hiding something from us. Let us do that. We don’t want to make them feel uncomfortable around us, okay?” I started while I’m drawing a tree house.

We are currently in our art class with canvases in front of us.
