Chapter 24. Q3 Projections

Honestly, I was partly overjoyed that Ryder switched Lila’s and I positions, because that definitely humiliated Lila. Ryder had unknowingly taught her a lesson on my behalf for humiliating earlier this morning.

But that joy vanished the moment Ryder stepped in, gave me a file to go through and asked me to prepare a presentation for him in less than 24 hours!

How the fuck is that possible?

“What?!” I shouted, shooting up from my chair so fast it scraped loudly against the floor. “How is it even possible for me to make a full presentation on the Q3 projections in less than 24 hours? That will take at least three days to do alone!”

My voice tightened. “And even if I somehow managed it in 24 hours, we’d need at least five people on a team to pull it off. Besides, I’m only your assistant, this isn’t even my job!”
