Kendra’s POV

Realizing what I did made me even more insomniac. I thought after talking to my husband I would be able to fall asleep, but I was wrong.

It triggered my childish side and even made me crazier. Who would have thought that enduring his infidelity for two years now would bring me to this point—the point of retaliation.

I kicked and shrugged inside the quilt I wrapped myself in. I squealed controllable thinking no one would be able to hear me. Yet a few minutes after doing so, I was frozen by the creaking sound of the door.

I felt someone’s presence, but I had no idea who that could be. So I stopped every moment and even held my breath, then released it as quietly as I could until the person finally talked.
