Chapter 59. A Stranger’s Warmth

Kendra’s POV

Something happened while I was asleep. The road got bumpy and the trip was interrupted.

I was awakened when the bus suddenly went to a full stop, my hands automatically protected my belly to protect my little peanut. As if my maternal instinct awakened that moment, as my body was thrown out of my seat.

What happened next surprised me, but at the same time, I was grateful. The handsome man had a fast reflex and he was able to save me from falling on the bus floor. His arms were covering my back and my shoulder.

For a few moments, my whole body was secured by him, as if he was protecting me.
