Chapter 24. Stop the Teasing

Emma’s POV

Biting my inner lips, I didn’t know how to react to his proposal. A date? This would make it the second date. I could vividly remember the last date where he took me to the forest to see the beautiful waterfall. That day was outstanding as I remembered every detail of it and the thrill of running through the thick forest carefree with him right beside me.

He was a cheerful person, and he saw the world through colored glasses. He saw the world all rainbow and beautiful, but I could tell that he had his fill of life, but still chose to be the same.

“What do you say?” He asked, looking confused and worried. Was he scared that I would turn him down? I chuckle, laughing as I hear his tone of voice. I felt the weird urge to mess with him and I remained silent to see his reaction.

Parker looked impatient. His brows creased, and his lips parted to say a word, but no words came forth. After a while, he cleared his throat as he finally found his voice
