Emma’s POV

My feet echoed off the cold stone walls as I paced back and forth in my small, dimly lit room. I couldn’t shake the feeling of emptiness and loneliness that had settled in my chest. I missed my mates, Bennett, Hunter, and Parker, with every fiber of my being.

I thought about their smiling faces, their laughter, and their warm embraces. I remembered the way they made me feel—loved, cherished, and protected. Tears pricked at the corners of my eyes as I wondered if I’d ever get to see them anytime soon.
