Chapter 15. Bad Intentions

Winnie bowed her head like a misbehaving child, her shoulders shaking slightly. Primrose spoke to her to reassure her, calling for her to come down. At this time, Winnie cautiously took every step.

"This is Winnie, the cousin I told you about. She will remain in the same house with us until she finds a new job and a place to live."

After being interrupted earlier, Joel was not satisfied. He just looked coldly at Winnie and then nodded to Primrose to show that he understood. Anyway, Joel had no interest in getting to know or getting too close to girls other than Primrose.

Winnie, since seeing Joel, had bright eyes and was constantly staring at Joel making him somewhat uncomfortable. She said a few more sentences and went upstairs. Primrose didn't notice the strange atmosphere, just quietly reassured Winnie.
