I woke up the following day, feeling a bit disoriented and confused when I realized I wasn't in my room and I was lying next to Julia in her bed, but then I felt hollow all of a sudden when I remembered how I discovered that Xavier is already married and has a gorgeous wife.

Tears streamed down my cheeks as I remembered Lindsay, Xavier's wife, and the fact that Xavier fooled me.

"How could you do this to me?" I thought to myself.

I tried to stifle the sound of my tears by placing a pillow over my face, worried that it might awaken Julia from her sleep, but no matter how hard I tried, a sound escaped my lips.

"You're crying yet again," Julia remarked.

She lifted the pillow covering my face and gazed at me with so much sympathy, which made me cry even more.
