Only Him - 34. I Can't Find My Mommy
Lisa's POV
"Alex, let him go." I demand.
"He deserves the pain, Lisa. By disrespecting you, he disrespects me. And do you want to disrespect me little boy?" Alex roars.
"I really hope you know that this isn't getting you anywhere with our little issue of trust." I shrug, turning towards the kitchen.
As I near the door, the sound of the guards body sliding to the floor with a groan can be heard. Footsteps follow after me.
"Then what will?" Alex asks, his eyes nearly turning back to normal.
"Prove to me that I can trust you. Show me that you won't treat me like anyone else." I say.
"Well, if you think about it I already am." Alex shrugs.
Rolling my eyes, I sigh, "Don't do that. All I'm asking is for you to prove to me that I shouldn't be scared of you."
"Okay." he nods, "I can do that."
A smile slips onto my face at his words.
"Now stay here. I'll be right back." he mutters, walking back to his office.<
