Lisa's POV

I never knew it was possible to have such powerful feelings towards someone that was not my mate. I didn't love him, far from it actually, but I held a certain corner of my heart for Alex's family. They were my family too after all. The only family that I actually did have. So of course I cared and inadvertently made Alex jealous.

I had dropped to my knees in front of Sebastian and pulled his head into my lap. He continued to convulse, my presence was no help to him.

I hear a growl behind me and Alex snaps, "Get the fuck out of the way. Back up everyone!"

Looking behind me, I see the crowd instantly part and a woman runs through. She attempts to take Seb's head from my lap, but I let out a low snarl. She removes her hands with wide eyes. I did not know who she was, but there was no way in hell that she was touching Sebastian in the state that he was in.
