Lisa's POV

"What happened now?" Alex sighs, leaning back against the closed door.

He crosses his arms across his chest and raises an eyebrow.

I take one last deep breath before mumbling, "I've just been really stressed lately and...and a lot has ran through my mind. The amount of guilt that I've felt over the past few days is enormous and it never really seems to stop no matter who I talk to about it."

Alex moves to sit next to me and asks, "Guilt about what?"

I shake my head in uncertainty, "It isn't just one thing, but I guess the biggest one is dragging you into this."

"Dragging me into what?" he snaps, narrowing his eyes at me.

I don't answer him for a few minutes, until I finally whisper, "Us. This relationship. My fucked up life. You didn't need this. You were fine without me."

He quickly stands from the bed and starts pacing in front of me. His hands find his hair and he angrily runs his hands through it, lightl
