Lisa's POV

"What do you mean you don't?" I snap, glaring at him, "Alex it's on the fucking floor. It can't just show up."

"Yeah well I didn't think that blood could be absorbed by the fucking ground, but that happened." Alex spits, turning towards the door, "I'm going to security. We have cameras everywhere."

Jogging along behind him to match his long strides, I murmur, "I'm thinking that now would be the time to tell you something because we only have about 4 hours until someone dies."

"No one will die," Alex spats, "I won't let them."

"Well at this point I'm not sure you have control over that...." I trail off.

He spins on his heel and stares me down, "What are you trying to say Lisa?"

"That...I don't know if we should be chasing this or trying to figure out who put that there. As far as we know it could be for the best." I mutter, looking away from his haunting gaze.
