Lisa's POV

I sigh as I open the front door. This month has been hell. With Sebastian in the hospital, I didn't have anyone to talk to and spent my days seemingly alone. I was never physically alone, however, only mentally.

After the night with Scott, Adam insisted on staying with us. There was something odd about Adam. It was almost as if I had met him before. He watched me like a hawk, maybe even more then Alex did.

Every time I turned around, he was there. Whenever someone would question him about his tactics, he would simply insist that he watched me only because I was his sister-in-law. I could tell this was not true.

There was something different about Adam, whatever it was, it made the hair on the back of my neck stand up whenever he was near me. I avoided him, to say the least, but Alex criticized me for it.
