Chapter 15
After a short time, we arrived at a medical clinic. We sat waiting for our turn. It did not take long until the nurse called the names of Manar Abdullah, Rima Abdullah, and Iman Abdullah. We entered a small room with a desk and a bed. The doctor was sitting, then he raised his eyes to us and pointed to Manar. First, she moved and climbed onto the bed.
He approached her and saw her teeth, then wrote down something, then took a blood sample from her, and then he did the same with me and Iman, and when he finished, he said, “Manar is seventeen years old, but Iman is sixteen, or this little girl is still eleven.”
Rima told him, “I am thirteen years old, so I calculate my age myself every year.”
The doctor said, “Based on what you calculate your age.”
Rima said, “When I entered the house, I was six years old, and according to the date of the accident published in the newspapers, I was thirteen years old. Isn’t that right, Iman? You are the one who kept the newspap
