She was just a personal assistant but she seemed to be doing much more than what she was getting paid for.

"It can't be that bad," June replied. She remembered Maya complaining to her about her boss and how strict she was and very unfriendly. 

It was certainly nothing new, you just had to figure out how to work there but for Myra to keep complaining over and over again, it meant that it was slowly getting out of hand and her control.

"It's that bad," Myra said. "Can you imagine that she slapped me in front of everyone because I added sugar to her tea?"

"I can't imagine, she did what?" June questioned not believing her ears. Why would her boss slap her over such a flimsy issue? Except Myra was not telling her exactly what had transpired between her and her boss or she wasn't narrating the story properly.

"I was stunned June, I just stood there dumbfounded and I had to apologize to her and still get her another tea without sugar," Myra explained.&nbs
